Dear Friends and Art Enthusiasts,
As we step into a new year, I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you! I am exceptionally proud to announce my inclusion in two prestigious exhibitions: the ACB Selects Exhibition at Michael Reid Northern Beaches and the 2025 Royal Easter Show Arts & Crafts Exhibition.
ACB Selects Exhibition
Dates: 7 February to 1 March 2025
Location: Michael Reid Northern Beaches, 2/358 Barrenjoey Rd, Newport
Curator: Amber Creswell Bell
Curated by the talented Amber Creswell Bell, the ACB Selects Exhibition showcases emerging artists handpicked from the 2024 National Emerging Art Prize. It’s an honour to be part of this special collection of original, affordable art that highlights an exciting range of creative talent. Don’t miss your chance to see these brilliant works in person, including my piece Story Time with the Miner! I will be attending the opening event on Saturday, 15 February from 2-4 pm, and I would love to see you there.

About the artwork: Created using a background collage from books in both English and German, this piece captures a moment in time when a Miner from a local town visits the library to find solace and escape the world around him. Lost in stories about fantastical creatures and romance, he is rendered in monochromatic tones as the books float around him with stories full of colourful prose.
Contact the team at Michael Reid Northern Beaches for a preview, priority access and sales.
Royal Easter Show Arts & Crafts Exhibition
Dates: 11-22 April 2025
Location: Arts & Crafts Exhibition Hall, Royal Easter Show
If you're planning to visit the Royal Easter Show this year, make sure you stop by the Arts & Crafts Exhibition Hall. My new release, Untitled, will be on show and available for sale as it competes for a prize alongside other incredible artworks. The show is a fantastic mix of creativity, featuring original artwork, photography, cakes, hats, and more!

About the artwork: "These are not flowers and this is not a bee," a keyhole symbol suggests the clue to the artwork is found by questioning what art is. My interpretation of a garden scene captures the movement of a bee as it surrounds flowers bathing in sunshine.
Your support means the world to me and all emerging artists. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Warmest regards,
Catherin
