Sydney-based contemporary gallery CX2Art continues to evolve its curatorial vision through the presentation of contemporary artists across Australia and internationally whose practices explore emotional resonance, symbolism, transformation, memory, and the unseen.
Founded by multidisciplinary artist Catherin Bennett, CX2Art was established from a desire to create meaningful space for artists navigating an increasingly difficult and oversaturated contemporary art landscape. The gallery’s direction is grounded in artist-led curation, prioritising authenticity, emotional depth, and practices that engage with psychological and intuitive dimensions of contemporary experience.
Following the gallery’s recent presentations of UK-based artists Danic Lago and Linda Burris Webster alongside Bennett’s own latest body of work, CX2Art is continuing to build momentum through an evolving international dialogue between artists whose works resonate both conceptually and emotionally.
Rather than operating as a traditional online gallery, CX2Art positions itself as a curated contemporary platform — one that values atmosphere, process, and connection as much as the artworks themselves.
“At its core, CX2Art was born from my experience as a working artist trying to find space within an industry that can often feel inaccessible,” says founder Catherin Bennett.
As the gallery evolves, I’m interested in bringing together artists whose practices speak to intuition, emotion, symbolism, and the unseen — artists whose works stay with you beyond the first viewing.”
