Love Wine and Art? Victoria Solo Exhibition news, new artwork releases and recent sales!
Dear friends and collectors,
I'm thrilled to announce that the opening night of my first solo show in Victoria is this FRIDAY!
If you're in Victoria or visiting during the school holidays and love wine and art, come down to experience my solo show, “Under the Sea: A Celebration of Oceanic Life” at Hat Rock Contemporary Gallery, located at the Lethbridge Wines - Hat Rock Vineyard cellar door, Bellarine, from July 5 to July 28.
My newly released body of work was developed over the past year to celebrate the fragility and beauty of oceanic life. Through it, I aim to inspire a sense of urgency to protect and preserve our oceans' stunning ecosystems from threats such as overfishing, pollution, and climate change (WWF, 2024).
Exhibition Highlights
An exciting and challenging highlight of the exhibition is a unique site-specific installation: a 5-meter-wide by 2.5-meter-high wall of 21 unique panels. This immersive experience transports visitors into the mesmerising world beneath the waves. I use flowing, layered, translucent materials and vibrant colours to depict our seas' myriad creatures, capturing their ethereal beauty and the delicate balance that sustains their existence.
