Blush I - Pink Hydrangeas

'Blush' is part of a series of works placed on a black background to bring out beautiful natural colours. These gorgeous pink hydrangeas in my garden give me joy every year. I painted these using an impasto technique to bring the petals to life. I just loved doing the small buds! Now, they can fill your room with their pink blush.
